1) Peel and chop about 3 large potatoes into 1.5″ pieces.. 2) Rinse 1 large leek and slice it into 1/4″ rounds.
The leeks and the broccoli and the cauliflower. They’re all just as happy as can be.. Can you tell my mind is just spinning?
Can you tell I have 1001 thing to show you and tell you all about this garden? Can you tell I’m lost and hopeful and overwhelmed and a little proud all at the same time?.I guess that’s why the only way I can sum it up is to say: Yup, it’s a learning experience.. And the season’s really only just getting started. This, my friends, is an idea post.
Not an execution post. And it’s about my giant chalkboard that I made a couple of months ago.. My giant chalkboard that I finally got hung up in the kitchen on the blank wall where I needed something cheery.
And then I left it there and did nothing.. I’m no great chalkboarder, you see.
I tried a little quote up there, which I loved, but I did not love my handwriting. We ripped out the carpet, put up drywall, painted every surface and pretty much just changed everything.
It was a pretty intense week but it was also a lot of fun to share the progress with you all on... And now here we are today!
All of the finishing touches are in place, everything is just how she likes it and we’re finally ready to show you everything!.It’s kind of awesome, right?
